Just thought I'd post some pictures of my latest find,and at the same time ask for ideas/advice on preserving/conserving the leather holster.And maybe some info on maker/year the holster is stamped H.R but markings on beilpicke head are worn and shallow stamped(has been in regular use it would seem).
As you can see the leather is worn thin and is crazed/dry on locking flap(not sure if this is correct term) and belt loops.
These are the best shots I'm able to get of the stamps on the holster and head(head to the left pick to the right.
I would like to say thank you to Brian for reactivating my account after I managed to block myself,and I look forward to reading your feedback on this.Regards Eric
