Yes, you are correct; this is a captured Russian 15 cm gun. The sender mentions it was prohibited to send such cards openly, i.e. without envelope – actually, even taking pictures of these guns was not allowed.
Transcription, with added commas and some corrected spelling:
Lieber Richart und alle, muss euch mal eine Photografie von unseren Kanonen senden, es ist die russische 15-cm-Kanone, Beute-Geschütz, ich bin leider nicht mit oben, ich bin beim 4. Geschütz, es ist verboten die Karten offen [zu] schicken, sie sollen schon nicht photografiert werden, aber nur das eine, Herzlichen Gruß sendet …
 
Note the short carriage favored by Obuchov. Ironically for these fellows, this is probably a Krupp gun, sold to the Russians prior to WW1.
