Brass Picture from the " Großherzog Baden " Fleamarket

I was able to get this picture a while ago.
It is an embossed brass plate with the Grand Duke of Baden and his wife.
I'm thinking about restoring it. The frame would have to be removed and repaired. The picture could be polished so that it shines like before. But then the beautiful patina and charisma would be gone. I'm not sure what the right thing would be.

The patina on the metal looks really nice, so I would leave that as it is, but I would fix the frame, as it just looks damaged.
Regardless of what you do, an excellent find.

I agree with Lars and HatEnjoyer, leave the patina intact, but repair, or replace the frame. Nice find!
