Braunschweig I R 92 and H R 17

These photos were taken by a collector friend and sent to me
back in the 1980's
It appears by the windows that these flags were in a church at the time .

That ring is one of copies (or fakes) IMO
If a collector has never seen or held an original in their hands
this could be mistaken for the real ring
The holes are there for the nails
but if you look closely the nails were never on this ring
all of originals that I own the area around the nail holes
is still bright where the nails covered the ring
as of yet they have not figured out how to make
that look correct .
