Brazilian 1900's Cavalry Trooper's Sword

Probably not of great importance , but still a hard to find item!
Thise Brazilian 1900's cavalry trooper's sword with distinctive steel hilt, embossed with Brazilian state arms. Ribbed brass grip. Plain, slightly curved blade. Complete with original, steel scabbard with remains of guilding.
In good overall condition with a dent in the scabbard.
Marked ; AEC, within a triangle & MARCA REGISTRADA.



 
I couldn't possibly tell you!
The sword was just part of a small collection a recently acquierd.
Still need to do some home work on it, as on most other items of the buy!
