Button questions

First off let say I'm sorry about the quality of the photos. They were taken from an iphone, I'm not much with a camera let alone a phone.

(1) This first button I believe to be from a Leib Company

(2) These buttons I have no idea what they are:
It is a Crown over a W, one is a two piece front in silver, the other is one piece brass.

(3) Another unknown;

(4&5) The button on the left is small (the size of a cuff button on a US uniform) and in silver (I have a couple of this same button in brass this same size and a larger size).
The button to the right is naval and the same size as an army Gefreiter collar button. I know little to nothing about naval uniforms, I always thought their buttons to be brass and ratings were worn on the sleeve.

This photo shows the buttons with a standard uniform button for size comparison.

I never intended to collect buttons, but over the years I've picked a few up and have been putting them aside. Here is a shot of one of my cases.

The " W " buttons are Braunschweig
Inf. Regt 92
or
Husaren Regt 17
depending on the button color of the regiment

Silver W has no back marks. The brass is marked " Extrafein*SM" . I have seen this same maker on other buttons from various countries.

Indeed. I got Dutch crowned W's who are made in Belgium.
Also got German button's with Belgian back mark's....
About the crowned "L" that might be a Belgian button for the expeditionary forces, that went to Mexico.
I am in the middle of moving form one house to the other and can't check my doc, for the next 6 month's....

There is clearly a Dutch button among your collection as well; the one with the lion and sword!
I also see Belgian lion buttons.

The Lion with sword is Dutch, the plain Lion buttons are Bavarian, and the Lion within the shield are Hessian. The L button does match some other Leib Company buttons I have seen.

I have seen one source that made comment that some regiments had monogramed buttons (other than the L) for their Leib Company. Documentation on buttons appears to be limited and generally stays with the just the rank buttons and the numbered ones.

Side note: The Hussar buttons are all that remain of a uniform brought home by a great Uncle after the war.

The two lion buttons just above the Dutch one are defenetly Belgian buttons.
If the Dutch button is built up in different parts, and you would part of it, I might be intrested.
