Chevauxlegers on patrol

Thanks Steve. It's hard to be sure with the photo quality but it sure looks like at least one of the 2 riders on the left side are officers and are carrying the model 91 Bavarian light cavalry officer's saber with an officer's portepee. These swords were a cross between the KD89 and the lion head officer's saber. They were authorized to be carried by the Chevauxleger and Uhlan officers. The Bavarian cavalry officer's portepee is pretty sharp.
