Some of you may have met my good friend Chris Armold at SOS. Chris is author of the very excellent Steel Pots books on the history of the American steel helmet. He even produced a DVD on the topic.

Well, Chris dropped a HUGE bomb last week. He is SELLING EVERYTHING. This isn't a fire sale. Chris isn't dying or anything horrible like that, thank god. But he is parting with a collection of some of the finest American helmets, including numerous early American WWI helmets.

It is sad when a collector part's with a collection. Neat item's .There was a Navy talker's helmet at the last ahow i was at they are huge.
