Hi CJW,
Welcome to the forum.
Can you tell a little bit more about the Tschako?
To me it appears to be a post war police Tschako (the stain on the year is too convenient for my taste), made to look like an imperial Tschako, but I'm happy to be corrected.

Welcome CJW. The Tschako is property marked to the Berlin Sicherheitspolizei it seems. I have a Weimar Republic period Police greatcoat with a similar property stamp.
