I have never owned one of these so I am posting photos....is this original?


This thin white leather(?) backing is concerning but again I have never handled on of these.

Interesting Brian. I have a similar one on that artillery helmet but without the white backing which I can’t really explain…

I have few canvas and silk but none of them have the white backing. The buckles do not look original and I cast my vote for a repro.
