Colour Period Pic Kgl. Sachs. Jäger Bat. 13.

Thanks to a Dutch friend, who gave me a CD, filled with digital German Feldpostkarte, I found this rather remarkable colour period picture, a field postcard, dated 14 September 1914, presenting two members of the Königliche Sachsische Jäger Battaillon 13.
Perhaps, I thought, it may be interesting to share it with you here.
I also added below some details of the picture and the rear side of the postcard.
No Pickelhaubes, I am afraid, but Tschako’s or Shako’s (What 's the correct spelling?). Any comments are welcome.

Nice card, the writer from the 2nd ersatz company is evidently a new recruit. He writes that the training is hard because they are getting ready for war as quick as possible, and that their oath of allegiance is set the next day.
