it must be rare – I don't think I have ever seen one like this – has anyone?

Rare spiked helmet, this type was usually worn during ceremonies and parades, officers were authorized to purchase these from private firms!

Ligtweigt helmets were made from light steel, aluminium and from plastic like Vulcan Fibre!!
