Curious and rare EKI catch.

Hi Guys,
This EKI belongs to a friend of another forum, did you ever heard something about speculation that these were designed to fit onto Garde Du Corps breastplates.
Anyway, it's a very nice and rare cross.

Yes it is . The KMST slide back cross is one of the very hardest to
find 1914 EKs and command a premium price when they are found.
