Thanks for the post
This D R 9 is in silver
The normal D R 9 is gilt
per an A K O in 1915
all Dragoons were to be in silver trim
except 1 Garde D R which was to remain in gilt
This is the only example of a sliver trim D R 9
that I have seen
I would like to hear form other members if they
have seen this helmet in silver else where
I have also seen a photo of a D R 2 officer in silver
I think that Bruno and I talked about this sometime back
