I was very pleased to pick up two original copies of the dress regulations for the Military Officials of both the Prussian (including Baden, Braunschweig, Mecklenburg and Hessen) Army of 1908 and of the Bavarian Army from 1904. These are the last word on what was "supposed" to be worn and are very detailed. Both have hand written and typed amendments and accompanying the Bavarian regulations was an original Verordnungs-Blatt dated 1 June 1907 which includes a War Ministry Annex detailing the newly introduced Hauptmann/Leutnant type boards for the Subalternbeamten which replaced the 1866 pattern tresse models. Below are a couple of pages showing Bavarian Garrison Administration Officials.
