dutch shako ???

This is indeed a Dutch Shako M1865 made by Pauwels in Den Haag ( private purchase ).
Unfortunately it is a but of a marriage .. De gilded lion is for militairy headgear and the silver plate at the front is for civielguard.. The frontplate with the two lions is for the city of Amsterdam probably for a policeforce shako M1861 (with was higher than the model M1865 )worn untill 1866 and you ar missing a lion on the botton underneed the other lion.
