Hey Guys, I just recieve a couple of WWI nespapers from an ebay seller in Germany, they were cheap, the were sent quickly and the seller had great communications, I wanted to post this for feed back
"Great newspaper, very fast shipping, great communications, and easy payment"
But I am prohibited by ebay from posting such offensive language, Am I really that dense, stupid or offensive? OK, I will admit to the last one, but what am I missing? I am puzzeled by this one.

OK, after deleting words, I have found that newspaper is an offensive word for ebay, I was able to replace it with Zeitung, and sneak it past.

PS I wonder if one can sell newspapers on ebay, I know that you can sell porn (although they list it as adult)

Ahh, the wooly-headed logic of Greedbay strikes again.

I dunno Gus but it does not surprise me. I got several listings pulled for mentioning that 'payment by cheque is accepted'. They don't like that one much. Mind you, it's their party and you just have to go along I guess!

Yea.... that is definately, a Gusmeister moment! Actually Gus, it is reassuring for the rest of us Ebayers that the system does recognize those who have different approaches to life on the planet. But hey, Suum Quinque!! B

Whats with Ebay/Paypal now 'holding funds' pending a sale until the buyer is satisfied and has left positive feedback? Anyone else encountered this?

That sounds like an escrow payment, but I think the seller has to agree beforehand. Have anyof you tried Specialist Auctions?

I have bought and sold on it and found it to be a lot better than ebay, most of the sellers can be recognized from ebay, it is limited, but I think it has some potential to replace evil ebay, it is based in the UK so we get away from the "We know what is best for you" attitude of Kalifornia.

They wouldn't let me use the word "extremely" as in "extremely well packed" a couple of years ago.
Well yeah, that one I can understand, isn't that a euphemism for big knockers?:)

I think they search for certain words without considering spaces. So if you wrote "Item was extremely well packed".. I had such problems a few times but could not figure it out in most cases.
