ebay helmet

Beware, most of this guy's headgear is fake. The low bidding rate is also a good indication that something is wrong...

We've discussed him in several posts here over the past few weeks.

I don't know about this item in particular as it looks much better than his other junk. I see an M1895 Prussian Guard EM/OR Pickelhaube but with the absence of good closeups, you can't tell more... Cockades & chinstrap could be fake to say the least. The rest could be a parts helmet... I see screws/bolts on the inside. If these are what's holding the wappen, then this would be wrong for this type/model.

Hope this helps; others will surely jump on this but I would never buy anything from this seller. :x

As Ron already said beware of this seller! You can find more information about this seller here:

Best regards,

I see he is selling a lot more.
Looks to me that he doesn't know what is right or wrong.
I am thinking that he bought a lot pickelhaubes and more.
But some pickelhaubes are looking good .
And he has a return policy , so wenn i buy a helmet i can always return it wenn it is not good.
Thinking of buying one pickelhaube.

What do you guys think.

At least one of the side posts has been disturbed at some point, always makes me wary..and the front visor trim also looks suspect..just my thoughts.

I contacted this seller several times to express my concern about some of his helmets he had up for auction, but he never replied, or insisted that they were original :(

My advice: leave it alone.

Edwin
