Enlisted Busby - Hussar Regt 8

Came in a recent estate auction box lot of some costume type hats, auctioneer said, "here's your chance to get some nice hats for halloween!". Unfortunately has some condition issues...

Nice find, 8th Hussar regiment busby.

Condition is tough, but if you got it for a reasonable price who cares, I would put it in my collection.

Interior is in decent shape, maker marked Julius Jansen, Strassburg, dated 1916. The bandeau is held on with 2 pieces of leather.

judging its condition you did wel on finding one ,you even have all the parts on it
mostley if you do find these the coloured 'bag' is missing
it lost some hair during age but uh ..... don't we all
