What is your opinion on the spiked helmet?

What I see is a feldgrau painted filz haube with stitched leather trim around the entire rim of the shell.

Hard to tell with out having the helmet in hand.
But the liner looks to be new and the disc spike suport is either repo or has been repainted.

If the interior is felt I have NEVER seen a felt dome in red or brown.

It is felt and external is painted feldgreu but I think the wappen is not original to the helmet. The wappen shd be the loop type, one can see the loop slots in the pic. I have a similar helmet
