Just picked this one up from a friend....I've been looking for an honest example for a little while, this one shows a bit of wear but that's OK, it'll do just fine. Herr Weitze has a few nice examples on his website but this one was in greenbacks instead of Euros, much more affordable. :)

As always, another great piece of photography from your collection...

I've always liked these embroidered shields and have had several over the years, but they always seemed to wander off.......now I'll start looking for a gorget. I was very fortunate and found the proper Fahnentrager sword at a Fleamarket several years ago, so perhaps I'll be lucky twice.

Thanks Guys, glad you liked the shield (Tony you probably have 10 of these :D ), Brian I like the marksmanship and Kaiser prize badges too and will try to post two interesting , multiple award examples here soon.

Nope. Not even one. Would like to find one if the opportunity ever came up, but I spend all my time looking for shoulder straps and Ulanen epaulettes on my want list that I am missing. Again, great piece. Good for you!
