Filz bowler hat

This is my one and only Felt pickelhaube Prussian em. good firm helmet but the moths have been at it. I believe these are called bowler hat type. I keep an eye on e-bay and militaria fairs but mostly its the other type with rear spine and visor trim that you see offered, does anyone know much about this style? was it specific to a maker or region?

They certainly do have that bowler profile. We discussed the "rolled edge" type of filzhelme a couple of years ago here on the forum. I have a Baden one in my collection so other states did use these.
