First new Find this week Baden Pioneer OR

Had a great week last week and purchased 2 nice pieces, this is the first.

Very nice Baden Pioneer battalion helmet, well marked with paper stamp B.A. 14 and also faint stamp in leather with P.B. 14

Silver fittings are stunning and chinstrap and Kokarden all real to this helmet.

This is a nice piece and if James says it's good there would be little reason to doubt him. There is one anomaly: the crown is voided. why?

Nice helmet and great shape!
Only my very humble opinion: Voided crown + threads instead of loops at the back of the wappen on a M95 pattern helmet = private purchased wappen adapted on an issued helmet :-k But why?? Maybe a moody extravagance of the wearer??? Very uncommon...
