Hello all,
I have read a Story about a missing Flag of the shootingclub Albringhausen. The Flag was donated to the club in 1910 and it is the first Flag of it. Unfortunately it got lost in ww2, but it has been re-found again on an auction in Cincinnati/USA in 2010 or 2011. The youth of the club has tried to bit for it and bring the flag home, but unfortunately they didn‘t win the auction and the bidding winner is not known.
That‘s why I‘d like to ask if any member of this Forum has bid on the Flag or if anybody knows the person who may own i nowt? Maybe there is a chance that we can buy it and bring it back home. The Text on the Flag should contain „Schützenverein Albringhausen“or „Schorlingborstel“
That‘s the only Foto of it I found, hopefully it is enough to compare:
