Could the people in the attached photos be the same person? The person in the AfricaHunting.com photo is Fritz Remmler.
The other photograph is from my grandparents' collection. My grandparents lived in Kajaani, Finland after the war, and Remmler was active here before the Winter War.
Otherwise, I wouldn't be interested, but I inherited a faschinenmesser, which my grandfather supposedly took from a house being demolished when he was working on those kinds of jobs.
The reason I'm wondering if the people in both photos could be Remmler is because, apparently, the man with the bird in the photos is connected to the sword and was supposedly a spy.
Personally, I don't believe my grandfather ever met Remmler or took or received those photos, but it's possible that the few pictures came from the same demolished house.
