I dont think people buy this crap he has a private bidlist so you cant see that he is bidding on his own items everytime , its also for sale on marktplaats.nl

It is indeed a very rare piece (fortunately)

Well said Ed! :bravo: We all make mistakes – downright errors – but to intentionally screw someone does not help your reputation.

The helmet might be legit. I don't know for sure but I am more worried about the seller. If I am not mistaken, this seller often has questionable items up for auction at ebay. Moreover, the seller is from the UK which is another point of concern because many dubious helmets are sold from this country. Perhaps I am wrong here. Just my thoughts :D

This same seller (also listed on eBay) has an Anhalt helmet...made from a plain Prussian officer's helmet with a "Koenig" plate:

He says it has the correct Reichs cockade but the Anhalt cockade was replaced with an all black one.

Total crap, convex chin scale bosses, galvano wappen.......a waste of time, puffy liner. Forget it.
