BS as literally bs dealer has this GDK helmet for sale.


What do you guys think of it? 


I did a comparison with Tony's.  The front wappen is mounting too high to begin with.  Have yet to study the rest of the details but for 6000+ not a bad price if authentic.

In my opinion this is a correct GdC helmet but it has been altered.

One of the first things I noticed was that the right side M91 post is a replacement from a standard brass infantry pickelhaube. You can see that is a tooth shape instead of the correct tongue shape which is on the left side.

The lathered on interior paint means someone was sloppy when they disassembled the helmet and put it back together.

The parade eagle looks to be correct but is heavily worn. You can see the wing seams and the right leg/foot already has some holes. The eagle may be positioned too far forward and this can be adjusted via the wing nut in regards to it's position.

All in all, while almost correct, I believe this to be way over priced for what it is.

I thought that would be a rough price for it. Oh well, I haven't had one so not sure of the price and also cos there are so many fake GDK, I am very careful when buying one of them.
