I have long wanted and searched for a 1907/1915 tunic to this elite unit. I have only seen two over the years, a moth destroyed example on German ebay and this one now in my collection. If you hang around long enough sooner or later fortune will smile on you.
This example is interesting for a coupe reasons. A 1907 pattern but issued in 1915 it shows some simplified uniform characteristics. The shoulder straps are simplified, without piping and sewn in, falling between the 1907 and 1915 patterns and the use of field gray rank tress instead of the golden tress. As issued the Garde litzen is machine sewn while the rank tress is hand sewn probably occurring after promotion from Jäger to Oberjäger.
I have also included a photo of my Jäger field tunics. I am pleased to have both a Garde Jäger and Garde Schützen tunic.
