I like it very much, a good sleepy untouched unaltered example. The price however I think is crazy. To me it is more than twice its true value.
 
I would just dust it and not cleaned it till sunglasses have to come into action.

Very nice helmet, congratulations.

hmmh if you like the stamps GDK Weitze sold one ...
 
Last word was 4500....Helm from Weitze in Bavaria militaria far.

But the qustion is user brusik1 bougth it or not ?
Or on ebay is a fake ....

But:
No idea what these gray washers with copper do. Looks like riveted ...
Therefore, I do not always think eagle and base plate and helmet together ...
Base plate of the eagle Screw thread in the middle newly soldered!

No idea what these gray washers with copper do on the base plate of the eagle. Looks like riveted ...

Either the eagle was bolted to the body with the screws which are now verniete which is usually the case with property pieces or with wing nut in the middle with chamber pieces.

Here we have closed hump bolts and newly soldered thread for thumbscrew!

Also, as it looks like if something is restored, the red shade is still there ...
