If you look at his close ups of the inside prongs of the chin scale bosses, you can see the holes where there used to be M91 side posts attatched. So, the scales at least do not belong to this helmet.

Yes, Brian, you´re right!
If you even look at the close up of the front visor, one can also easily see that it´s not sewn on the shell. Only hold by the two front trim side-buttons.
I think wappen and cruciform base are both original to helmet shell, because of their perfect fittings and original threads + nuts.
