Gents,
This one's not on the Bay, but it's been presented on a Dutch site where militaria now and then appear.
It's presented as a "Eigentumshelm" of a "Einjahres Freiwilliger". The leather and Wappen seems allright by me, as is the patina on the metal parts. I have my doubt on the interior though: did owners helmets come with this leather interior, or only with silk liner? And what about the shape of the leather teeth?
