Hi all,
Here you are a pic showing a group of riders in one of the three Garde Uhlans Regiments. Some details are very interesting and especially the Tschapkas they are wearing. These are made by felt but the most part of these have a Garde eagle for marching troops and not the typical GUR eagle.

An another detail is to note, that's the fact that the most part of these guys are wearing a regular marching troops belt and not the typical cavalery belt.

These details and the faces of these riders drive me to believe that they did belong to an Ersatz unit. What's your opinion and what about your comments?
