Hello, everyone,

you search all over the internet to find headgear from the two world wars and then suddenly the neighbor comes along and says that he still has something in the basement. I couldn't stop being amazed.

A "Netzkopfhaube" LKpN101 of the German Luftwaffe from the WW2. It is extremely rare. They were mainly used in the Messerschmitt Bf 110. I wanted to show you the pictures. If anyone of you is interested, please contact me.

Sven

Excellent and rare example indeed. I like it a lot! For your interest, the makers (hersteller) code BXO stands for Deutsche Telephonwerke und Kabelindustrie A.-G. Berlin SO 36.

Amazing condition, not something that I am into but still thank you for post these photos. Very cool!

My wife's Uncle personally downed 32 German planes during the war. He was the worse mechanic in the Luftwaffe.
