Stumbled across this site whilst conducting some 'research' between mowing the lawn and replacing the car battery (thanks kids :x) in 40 degree Celsius heat.

Possibly should have posted this in the period photograph section, but they're not my pics, so I erred on the side of caution and slotted it in this generalised thread. I'm sure corrections can be made if required.

Nice pictures thanks for posting! There must have been a lot of work involved. I never saw such a mobile Russian infantry shield.
