I don't know what is uglier, the fake helmet or the fake head? Or the price.... :o


I'm betting though this helmet will go from "buy it now" to auction style and will disappointingly sell for quite a bit....


And to top it off, the seller puts a reference picture from a book that looks nothing like the auction helmet... :D

Yes, a pretty mediocre fake. Must've been one of the new acquisitions in this 40 year old collection (of ... junk?). Well, buyer beware would be the motto for this and other auctions like it.

Here's what might be a modern South American helmet that's had a Wurtt. plate stuck on it. The plate might very well a modern copy.
