Great war photo blog

I was advised to develop a professional website to advance my job hunt. This website should also include a section about my personal interests. Therefore, I started a photo blog on my site about my trips to the western front. However, I am not sure if this will get me my a new job, but it was fun developing it :D

Great website Edwin! Really. Congratulations. I watched all the pictures.
And we can even talk about flow cytometry!

There is a really nice website! I am with Bruno where I don't know anything about job stuff but your photos are great. I am currently working on the German advance and reconnaissance in August 1914 in the English language. Part of the manuscript therefore deals with Liège. If you are moderately interested I could send you the current manuscript – about 80% – you might find something about Vizé. Congratulations on your great website.

The Dutch magazine "De Prins" had a lot of pictures from the war zone in 1914, and in their Aug 29 1914 issue also a picture pertaining to be the blown up bridge at Visé. Not the best quality, but if Edwin doesn't have a good one I can make a scan.

Lars

Lars,

Please take a scan! Publishers always require at least 300 dpi. Newspaper printers particularly tough – maybe 600 dpi. You would think that that would be a common picture. But I have had no success until you spoke up. Thank you.

Lars,

Your scan turned out absolutely perfect. Perfect. We can use it and the copyright is for the newspaper/magazine on the date you provided. Do you have a page number? A city of publication? I am going to think about what else I need to ask you. Your name is going into the book for the acknowledgment. Thank you.

Great site Edwin, well done. Good to see the Canadians mentioned specifically and not just lumped in with “British “ forces.
