Green-olive tin helmet

My first (helmet) post with this green-olive Bing tin helmet which I had the chance of picking up recently.

I have tried to get some clear close-ups of interesting details, perhaps not with great success. Will try to do better next time.

Interestingly, the chinstrap buckles are or the exact same colour as the rest of the helmet

Adjustment rings are also of the same matt green-olive colour

Very sharp front standard ligne infantry Prussian eagle. It must have been moved at some point by his former owner to place the reservist cross. Shades of original black paint can be seen on the side of the right wing of the eagle showing that the helmet was spray-painted in green over the original black
