Here are the helmets of G R 1
and a nice pair of Epaulettes
I normally would not buy a helmet without a liner
but I could not pass up this helmet with a Feldgrau
Prussian Line eagle with a Kammer stamp of G R 1
and dated 1916
I don't think that I have ever seen a Feldgrau "1655 " helmet plate

What Jan K. Kube explained to me back many years ago when I
purchased this Waffenrock from him
is that the bridles to hold epaulettes are not regulation for the M1915 uniform
However here they are .Also the shoulder straps should be sewn into the Waffenrock
but they are not
either the tailor did not understand the regulations
or for some reason that is what the officer wanted
Epaulettes were no longer to be worn
