Grenadier Regt 7 Prince Oscar

I wanted to add a little more about G R 7
Here are a couple of other views of Oscar in his prewar Waffenrock of G R 7 .
An officers G R 7 Waffenrock and an enlisted Waffenrock in my collection
and last a G R 7 uniform which is no longer in my collection

I think it came years from a collector friend George Bush .
In my collection for a few years
I think sold to M V D
then he sold all of his uniforms to M. Fisher
and the book was done on Feldgrau uniforms by Fisher
I think it is in the book ?
then Fisher sold all the uniforms
not sure if Baldwin got it ?

I met MVD, what a nice fellow. I recall when Fisher was selling all those. Got a few but didn’t have the funds back then to get more than a few

I understand , I was not always able to keep some of the things
that I had in the collection . A point where keep what you have
but I can't move forward. or sell or trade some items in order
to add new items to the collection. Especially when I became interested
in real regiment flags .

Yes , some things had to go to afford the Holy Grail !
but in the long run , I am pleased with what I did
to obtain a true regiment flag is like once in a lifetime.
Some came out of Russia
From what I have heard, it will NOT happen again.
