Guard Landwehr Tschako, Franco-Prussian Era

Greetings all and Happy New Year

Thought you might enjoy this image of two Guard Landwehr NCO's who may be brothers, they look so similar. Each soldier wears a marksmanship stripe above the top of the Brandenburg cuff of each sleeve. Nice clear image of a Guard Landwehr plate on his 1860 pattern Tschako. I'd sure like to find one of these rascals....Tschako that is :love10:

I am happy with the Wappen; I have never seen another. I think that is the second photo I have ever seen, the first was on this forum by Brett (drakegoodman) if I recall.
