Offered for sale is an Imperial German "Hebel" Flare Pistol.
Marked on right side of frame chamber area: "52678", and on right side of frame behind chamber: "AZF" over "BA XI" or "AZF" over "FA XI". I believe it's the "B.A." depot mark, and not an "F.A."
The metal parts have surface rust, which should remove easily by taking off the wooden grips and soaking the metal in "Evapo Rust" product. There is no pitting to the metal parts, only surface rust.
There must be a spring broken, inside, as the trigger will not cock.
I have shown markings found on two different areas of the left side of the frame.
