The inside of the helmet has obviously been repainted. Kokarden are reproduction or at least repainted. Chinstrap looks like a reproduction as well. The rest of the helmet looks correct to me.
 
Brian, I agree with you, but as far as I know, M15 JzPf helmets also had black anodized helmet shells, at least the one I owned before. It looks like somebody polished that anodized
finish off of it, and also the grey finish of the helmet trim.
 
Coert, I did own an M15 JzP years ago with this polished steel shell exactly like this. At present, I also own an M15 Kurassier with this finish and grey wappen. I am not an expert on these but I always regarded the dark blued finish on these helmets as pre war. I know that some were still produced during the war from existing stocks though. Last, I believe these M15’s were to be worn with uberzug.
 
Brian, in this particular example I have to agree with Coert. If you look closely at the helmet body there appears to be buffing marks, (also signs of pitting) The trim should be gray along with the spike and the dragoon eagle. Just my observation.
