Help Id'ing Reservistenbild unit

Picked this up fairly cheap recently and have been unable to Id the unit. A Bavarian trumpeter is about all I can tell. Given the cannon barrel in the background maybe mounted artillery? Thanks!

You have a few clues to help confirm your identification:

1. He is wearing a Bayern Artillerie Raupenhelm (red Haarbusche)
2. Red straps with yellow 2, with black collar and cuffs would also indicate FAR Nr.2
3. Horse blanket is FAR pattern with red trim and crown
4. His side arm is the distinctive Bayern FAR pattern. Look here >>

Thanks a lot guys! 1st Bavarian FAR sometime before the Raupenhelm was replaced by the Pickelhaube (ca 1890 per the Kaisersbunker Bavarian pickelhaube page...http://www.kaisersbunker.com/pt/bayern.htm). Awesome!!
