Does anyone have a photo or example of a Hessen 115th EM helmet with reserve cross? I have never seen one in any book or in a collectors example. most examples tend to be officer helmets. does it exist?

Yes they existed however, they seem to be exceedingly rare. The second-tier reserve regiments seem not to have had them at all.
Very nice, but that fellow is not 115th.

I didn't even know I was looking for 115! I should read the question! I had a hard enough time finding a good picture of just the Hessian–now I'm back on my head looking for JR 115.
Okay so I got the picture wrong however, the formation of RJR 254 came mostly from JR 115 folks. I have never seen any of these Landwehr Cross.
Nor have I seen an RJR 254 guy with a 115 Wappen. I do have the history of the unit let me look for crosses and Wappen–sorry for the confusion!
