Here are the shoulder straps of the Hessian I R 117 .
The odd thing about the Major's pair on the left they have Prussian colors of black & white on the straps .Not the Hessian colors .I can't explain this but I have owned these for years and look correct to me . Before the " A " cypher the regiment wore the " V M " cypher Steve McFarland
