I just acquired three very nice helmets from an original collection. From the veteran down to his grand daughter and then to me, otherwise untouched:
Hessian M95/15 filzhelm

Prussian M1891 upgraded from an earlier pattern
The Hessian filz is particularly nice and appears never to have been disassembled in the past 90 years. Even the liner drawstring and liner tongues appear to be as they were left 90 years ago. Interesting combination of materials - M95 spike, base and wappen, M15 spine and visor trim, brass eyelets. One brass chinstrap hook on the M91 mount.
