Congratulations (y) The writing in pencil looks unbelievably fresh for over 130 years old and with such detailed information I don't think I've ever seen anything like it.

It’s a really nice piece! The beautiful undisturbed dirt under the plate testifies to its age.

One question: I’m wondering why it doesn’t have a Reserve cross?

Ludwig Bellinger was commissioned into TA 18 on 20 April 1909. He was an engineer by profession based in Fulda in 1911. Promoted to Oberleutnant der Reserve on 22 March 1915 whilst serving with the Train of XVIII. Armee-Korps. Final promotion to Rittmeister der Reserve on 26 May 1918.
