How would one form a wappen to a helmet?

Hi there, long time no see!
I had a quick question, my baden officer wappen does not lay on the helmet as it should, not conforming to the shell. Is there any way to "form" it to the shell?
 
Yes, a simple way is to find a plastic bowl of smaller diameter than the wappen. Place wappen in bowl and then gently force it down into the bowl with your fist. This should bend the wappen into the correct curve. Tony Schnurr put me on to this year’s ago. It works well on Prussian and other winged wappen.
