Hello all,
I tried to identify the Maker of my Sabre and need some help please.
It is a fine cavalry Lionheadsabre with red glass eyes from about 1910 but without Maker-Stamps. I think it could be from Carl Eickhorn, because I‘ve found the chiseled Flower in the middle of the handle in an Eickhorn catalogue from 1901. But unfortunately I don‘t have a Carl Eickhorn catalogue from 1910 to 1913 to proof it.
Does anybody have a Carl Eickhorn Makers Catalogue from 1912 or 1913 to compare the chisel of the calvery Lionhead-Sabres and the etched Ornaments on the Blade? Or can anybody identify another Maker?
