I always liked the colonial uniforms. This is a military style Kullah, the army version of the traditional Indian headdress. I've seen the Kullah cones for sale a lot but rarely with the wrappings.
I'm still researching, but based on the colors this would probably be one from the Bengal regiments. There is the outline of a badge and I need to track down what type of badge might have been worn:
